I have a couple new video's from last night's match. Still suffer from the same problem of too fast for my own good. My CM 99-21 classifier was run in 7.26 seconds which was 4th fastest of 25 competitors, but fell way short when it came to hit factor score. Every time is a new challenge with experience gaining on me.
In this round I'm using a new rear sight setup, and learning my point of impact on those steel plates..... it cost me a few seconds, and a few extra shots to figure it out. All in all a decent run. Love the action "stomp" targets too!
Competing in a shooting sport has always been a small dream for me.
Up until last Thursday night I have only competed in 2 "Zombie shoots" through the Aurora Sportsman's Club, and many smaller "private matches" with mixed results.
Although I acquired more penalty's than points! I was among the top 10 in speed. So my immediate focus is simple.... Slow down, and work on accuracy.
It was a fun, fast, and exciting... Everything I hoped it would be. The group of guys are great too!
I look forward to these nights now, and I'm sure I will improve!!
One of the shooters was kind enough to take a couple video's, which makes my self learning even easier. THANKS DAVE!
